Regular meetings of the membership of the Rhode Island Republican Assembly are usually held on the second Thursday of every month, unless otherwise announced.
General Meetings of the Rhode Island Republican Assembly are usually held in the lower-level of the Tri-City Elk’s Lodge, 1915 West Shore Road, in Warwick. There is a pasta buffet dinner available for only $8.00 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm. If you want to eat, you pay for your own meal. The meeting usually begins promptly at 7:00pm.
All Rhode Island Republicans of good will are invited to attend our general meetings. Only RIRA members in good standing may make motions or vote on contested issues or endorsements. If eligible, we strongly encourage regular RIRA meeting attendees to become paid members.
Standard individual membership dues are only $25.00 per calendar year. Discounts are available for couples and college students. Please note that our Board of Directors’ meetings are not open to the public. Unless previously indicated, they are open to RIRA members in good standing only.
Our parent organization, the National Federation of Republican Assemblies, holds two national Board of Directors’ Meetings per year. Three representatives (President, National Committeeman, and National Committeewoman) from each of the NFRA state chapters across America are eligible to vote at these semi-annual meetings of the national Board of Directors, though all NFRA members in good standing are invited and encouraged to attend.
The next Board of Director’s meeting of the National Federation of Republican Assemblies will be held October 23rd to 25th, 2009, at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada, hosted by the Nevada Republican Assembly. For registration information, please refer to the NFRA website.
